RELACIÓN DE ATENUACIÓN DEL MOVIMIENTO DEL SUELO PARA

Resumen

Este artículo propone una metodología para determinar una relación de atenuación para estimar la aceleración máxima del suelo (PGA, por sus siglas en inglés) por medio del análisis de una trayectoria con base en regresiones lineales múltiples. A diferencia de estudios que determinan relaciones de atenuación usando varias trayectorias a la vez, este estudio presenta un enfoque en la delimitación del peligro sísmico que particulariza tanto la estratigrafía como la dirección a la fuente sísmica. Esta metodología fue aplicada a la trayectoria Guerrero-Querétaro a partir de registros sísmicos de estaciones que definen dicha trayectoria. Se analizaron seis sismos: el primero ocurrido en 1993 (Mw=6.6), dos en 2009 (Mw=5.2 y 5.6), y otros tres sismos de menor magnitud ocurridos en el 2010 (Mw=4.3, 4.7 y 4.9), conformando un total de 16 registros sísmicos, incluyendo las primeras señales sísmicas registradas en la ciudad de Querétaro. Estos sismos ocurrieron en la zona de subducción del Pacífico Mexicano, con fuente en el estado de Guerrero y todos ellos presentan características de la sismicidad interplaca. Respecto a estudios previos, los resultados muestran variaciones atribuidas a: 1) el análisis de una trayectoria y 2) la inclusión de registros en Querétaro (zona dentro del Cinturón Volcánico Mexicano, MVB por sus siglas en Inglés), los cuales presentan amplitudes que concuerdan con un decaimiento lento más no una amplificación del suelo.
